Group Tours of Fort Selden Historic Site

Tour Planning:

•Group tours are offered at Fort Selden Wednesday-Saturday.

•Adult admission is $5 per person. Children 16 and under are free.

•Book your group tour by contacting Fort Selden Historic Site at 575-526-8911. For school tours contact Instructional Coordinator Alexandra McKinney at 575-740-9967.

•Group tours can be customized to reflect your group’s interests.

•Please submit a request at least three weeks prior to the date of your planned visit.

•Group tours take an average of one and a half hours to complete.

•A staff member or tour guide will meet you at the front desk inside the museum. Please call the desk at 575-526-8911 if your group is running late.

•Please silence your cellphones while on the tour, but feel free to take photographs.

Safety Considerations:

•Guests should stay on the trails.

•Be prepared for seasonal weather changes.

•Do not climb on trees, buildings, rocks, or historic structures.

•Do not disturb wildlife.

•Guests should not pick anything up from the ground.

•Report injuries to a staff member immediately.
