Sandhill Cranes
Grus canadensis
If you visit Los Luceros in the morning or late afternoon between November and early March, you might have a chance to see these beautiful, and noisy, Sandhill Cranes who winter at the site.
Why are there Sandhill Cranes at Los Luceros? Watch this video to find out!
We are so happy we get to share our apples with visitors in the fall. However, humans aren't the only ones who enjoy the apples here. The Sandhill Cranes snack on them too!
