Family Day Fiesta
At Taylor-Mesilla Historic Site

Join New Mexico Historic Sites and the Friends of Taylor-Mesilla Historic Site for a free community event. Expect mariachi music, folklorico dancing, creative and kid-friendly activities, bubble painting and giant bubble-making, and a chance to explore the culture and history of Mesilla. This fiesta also celebrates the one-year anniversary of the Reynolds Store Visitor Center, a mercantile dating back to the 1860s. The Wonders on Wheels Mobile Museum, a division of the New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs, will also be on the Plaza throughout the day offering tours of the exhibit “Eight Sites, One History: Explore the Past at New Mexico Historic Sites.” A number of community organizations will attend the event offering activities and educational materials to visitors.
