Join Fort Selden Historic Site for this fun activity for all ages! Learn about the history of soapmaking, as well as the soaptree yucca plant, and other common yucca plants across the Chihuahuan Desert. After, join Ranger Sage and make some soap to take home using the leaves from nearby soaptree yucca plants. This program is included as part of general admission of $5/adult and free for children 16 years and younger.
