Looking to the Skies: Ancient and Modern Astronomers
At Jemez Historic Site

Learn about past and modern perspectives of astronomy from an Indigenous point of view. The presentation will discuss what Southwestern Indigenous people observed and believed about the world above them and how the worlds above and around them are connected and related. Sun watching will follow the presentation using solar telescopes. Light snacks and refreshments will be served during and after the presentation.
This program is included with admission of $7 for adults and free to children 16 years and younger, people with Native/Tribal affiliations, NM disabled veterans, NM foster families, Friend of Coronado and Jemez Historic Sites, and MNMF members.
