Indigenous-Led Cultural Land Management
At Jemez Historic Site
5/17/25, Saturday
11:00am - 2:00pm
Jemez Historic Site welcomes the public to join in a conversation about Indigenous-led land management collaborations. Ranger Casey and guest presenter Miguel Santistevan will discuss Indigenous and generational cultural-based land management. These collaborations and efforts are opportunities to build these relationships that can help address climate crises, and social and environmental injustices across New Mexico. Santistevan is involved in a variety of activities related to the conservation of traditional agriculture and the relationship to land, water, and culture.
This program is included with admission of $7 for adults and free to children 16 years and younger, people with Native/Tribal affiliations, NM disabled veterans, NM foster families, Friends of Coronado & Jemez members, and Museum of New Mexico Foundation members.
