Gardens at Gisewa: Cooking, Eating, and Growing Together
At Jemez Historic Site
3/30/25, Sunday
11:00am - 3:00pm
Jemez Historic Site welcomes you to join us for the first event kicking off our spring series on agriculture and food as medicine. Visitors will enjoy a corn, bean, and squash stew together as Ranger Casey provides an overview of the program for the season. Seed planting station will follow with seed, soil, and containers provided so everyone can take home a plant, even if all you have is a windowsill! All ages welcome.
Contact Casey Coty, Interpretive Ranger, casey.coty@dca.nm.gov, for more information. This program is included with admission of $7 for adults and free to children 16 years and younger, NM residents 60 years and older with ID, people with Native/Tribal affiliations, disabled veterans, and foster families.
