Los Luceros Historic Site (LLHS) offers extended hours from sunrise to sunset on the first Sunday of each month. During this time, entrance into LLHS is FREE for New Mexico residents with ID.

This month, watch a film screening 10 a.m., 1 p.m., or 3 p.m. of Eating History: A Taste of New Mexico, produced by the Museum of New Mexico Foundation. Eating History is a captivating documentary about New Mexico’s intricate relationship with food. It showcases how food has influenced and defined diverse cultures, contributing to its unique culinary identity. Los Luceros Historic Site’s Manager, Michelle Zupan, is featured in the film, as well as farmers from the Northern Rio Grande region. Learn more at https://www.eatinghistory-nm.com/.

On Dawn ’Til Dusk day, visitors can enjoy bird watching, listen to a children’s story led by a ranger, participate in hands-on activities, and explore the historic buildings, nature trails, and farm animals. 

Entrance is free for New Mexico residents with ID. Regular admission for non-residents is $7/adult and free to children 16 and younger.
