Los Luceros Ranger Walk ’N Talk
At Los Luceros Historic Site
1/8/25, Wednesday through 3/26/25, Wednesday
11:00am - 12:00pm
Join Interpretive Ranger Kara on a guided ranger tour through Los Luceros’ historic district from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. Guests will be guided around the site and its buildings, like the nineteenth-century chapel, and learn unique history, such as how it was rebuilt by Luis and Eliza Ortiz after the previous chapel was washed away by the Rio Grande. Participants will also learn about other interesting characters from the past who lived and worked on the property. The tour is included with admission of $7/adults and free to NM Seniors and children 16 and younger. Meet in the Visitor Center to begin the tour. Note: The Hacienda is currently closed due to restoration taking place, so we will not go inside the building.
