Ranger Read and Learn
At Coronado Historic Site
11/16/24, Saturday
10:00am - 12:00pm
Join the staff of Coronado and Jemez Historic Sites as we learn about wild turkeys. Listen to the book Gobble, Gobble: One Year in the Life of a Wild Turkey by Cathryn Falwell, then learn about how people who lived at Kuaua and Jemez Pueblos domesticated wild turkeys and used their feathers. We’ll lead a nature-inspired turkey activity.
Martha Liebert Public Library is located at 124 Calle Malinche, Bernalillo NM, 87004. The event is free. Families of all ages are welcome!
