Join Ranger Kevin to learn all about bats that can be found right here in southern New Mexico. For thousands of years many people have considered bats to be mysterious creatures. There are many misconceptions about bats that contribute to the stories and fears that surround them. This ranger demonstration will include a lecture on the importance of bats, the vital role they play in nature, and common species found in the Chihuahuan Desert.
