Please check this website often for an announcement regarding our reopening plans, and to continue exploring our online programs. New Mexico Historic Sites Virtual Classroom Program 

New Mexico Historic Sites belong to the people of our great state and in an effort to make on-site experiences available to every student during this unprecedented time.  

Beginning on Tuesday March 24, 2020, a new program will be released daily, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. A link to each lesson will be added to the menu on the right of this page

Each new program will consist of: 

  • A pre-lesson packet that will contain background information, learning objectives and links to New Mexico Content Standards aligned with the lesson for the appropriate grades. 
  • An activity designed to be completed during the lesson for K-4th Grades, 5th -8th Grades, and 9th-12th.
  • A pre-recorded video lesson led by one of our professional interpretive staff members which will be archived via our YouTube Channel.
